The Australian Kendo Renmei Kendo Board and the Queensland Kendo Renmei are excited to bring you the 8th Oceania Women’s Kendo Seminar and Taikai !!!
This is the first Oceania Women’s Kendo Seminar and Taikai since the 6th event was held in Melboune in 2019 (7th event was cancelled due to COVID).
It will be a very cost-effective event as the bulk of the event running costs will be funded through a QLD Govt. Women & Girls grant.

Location: Tallebudgera Sports Centre 1525 Gold Coast Hwy, Palm Beach QLD 4221
Instructors: – The seminar will be led by a number of AKR’s inspiring senior sensei who have extensive experience in competition and instruction!

Accommodation: We are currently looking into an accommodation package onsite with catering included (Fri – Sun).
Cost: TBC but registration fees (including onsite accommodation and full catering) are expected to be around $150.
Eligibility: AKR or FIK affiliate members (must be current). Seminar and Competition is open for ALL Women including cis and trans women and is non-binary friendly.
