AUSTRALIAN WOMEN’S KENDO SEMINAR & TAIKAI 2011
19-20 February 2011.
All female kendo practitioners are invited to participate in the Australian Women’s Kendo Seminar & Taikai 2011 to be held on 19th and 20th February 2011. Venue and location TBC.
We are very fortunate to have two very experienced and highly respected female Kendo Sensei from Japan to conduct the two-day seminar. Kanzaki Satoko Sensei and Abe Tokiko Sensei will help us in conducting the seminar and Taikai.
We encourage all female Kendo practitioners to participate and support this event. If successful, our vision is that this event will become a regular annual fixture in the Australian and New Zealand Kendo calendar.

KANZAKI Satoko Sensei, Kendo 7 Dan
- Currently resides in Osaka
- Married to the Japanese Women’s Team Coach of 14WKC, Brazil
- Graduate of Tsukuba University (Major in coaching)
- AJKF Shinpan (Shinpan at All Japan Women’s Competition)

- All Japan High School Team Champion
- All Japan University Team Champion (Tsukuba Kendo Team Captain)
- All Japan University Individuals 3rd Place
- All Japan Individual Championships 3rd Place
ABE Tokiko Sensei, Kendo 6 Dan
- Currently resides in Himeji
- High School Kendo Teacher
Competition Results:
- All Japan High School Team Top 8
- All Japan University Team 2nd Place
- Kanto Region University Championships 2nd Place.
