\"\"<\/a>The First Asia Oceania Kendo Championships were held at Tokyos’ Tokyo Budokan arena on 30 and 31 May, 2026.<\/p>\n

Many thanks to the organising team at the the Asia Oceania Kendo Federation and to the\u00a0 All Japan Kendo Federation for their huge amount of logicistic support and hard work.<\/p>\n

Thank you also and congratulations to the Australian Team for a wonderful effort!\u00a0 All members showed not only great commitment in preparation, but also displayed an amazing effort on the shiaijo.\u00a0 Well done and congratulations to all, we are proud of you all!!<\/p>\n

Team\u00a0 Manager, Ken Okomaoto sensei wrote “Not only were we able to achieve solid results at this tournament, but each athlete also gained great confidence heading toward next year\u2019s WKC, while discovering new challenges to overcome individually. It was an incredibly meaningful and rewarding event for the entire team.”<\/p>\n

      The team was able to achieve these results thanks to the many Sensei, AKR members, friends, and family members who supported the Team and development Squad, provided guidance and encouragement over the years.<\/div>\n
