Dear AKR Iaido & Jodo Members,<\/p>\n
2015 is the Iaido Board & Jodo Board election year.<\/p>\n
The election details will be announced after nominations close and will commence in November. \u00a0Voting will be entirely\u00a0by post, so all members have the opportunity to vote.<\/p>\n

Below\u00a0is a link to the\u00a0form to nominate candidates for election.<\/p>\n
Each Board is made up of five elected\u00a0members representing that art. Elected Board positions are for a THREE year term, 2015 to 2018.<\/p>\n
Tasks include attending and contributing to the management of AKR kendo, iaido or jodo seminars, championships and grade exams.<\/p>\n
Criteria<\/strong>
\nAll Ordinary Affiliate Members who are members of an Affiliated Body representing Kendo, Iaido or Jodo exponents are eligible for election to the relevant Kendo, Iaido or Jodo Board. Self-nomination is permitted. \u00a0All nominations must have a seconder and also the acceptance of the member being nominated.<\/p>\n
