The 6th Oceania Women’s Kendo Seminar <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It is with great pleasure to invite all female kendo practitioners from Australia and overseas to participate in the 6th Oceania Women\u2019s Kendo Seminar , 2019, to be held on 22 February 2019 in Melbourne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sensei who will conduct the seminar are: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shinzato Chikano sensei (Renshi\n7th Dan) <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shinzato\nsensei is the Nippon Taiiku Daigaku (Nittaidai) women’s kendo club coach. The\nNittaidai women’s team won the All Japan University Championships in 2017.\nShinzato sensei represented Japan at the 2003 and 2009 World Kendo\nChampionships. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hosokawa Rie sensei (Renshi 6th\nDan)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hosokawa\nsensei is a teacher at Nippon Taiiku Daigaku Ohka Junior High School – High\nSchool. Hosokawa sensei was the Nittaidai women’s kendo club assistant\ncoach for several years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nsensei are top class kendo pracitioners and educators. The sensei taught at the\nOceania Women’s Seminar in 2016. The 2016 seminar was participated in by\napproximately 100 female kenshi from Australia, Japan, New Zealand and China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The seminar is a one day only event due to the teacher’s busy\nteaching and competition schedule in 2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seminar Details<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Date: <\/strong>22\nFebruary 2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Time:<\/strong> 10:00am\n– 5:00pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Venue: <\/strong>Victoria University, Footscray Park Campus,\nMelbourne (N.B. this is a different venue to the VKR Nittaidai seminar in the\nfollowing 2 days.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cost:<\/strong> $45 full fee; $30\nstudent concession. Pay an extra $15 for a delicious lunch bento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
