Results of 14 WKC.<\/strong> (Download the complete pools and finals results below).<\/p>\n Women\u2019s Individual Championship<\/strong> – August 29, 2009.\u00a0(104 competitors)<\/span> Fighting Spirit Awards<\/strong> Australian Womens Team Captain Kate Sylvester, Chiaki Kobayashi and Vivian Yung all won their pools and advanced to the qualifying rounds. Chiaki next met this year\u2019s Champion Y. Takami of Japan. Vivian won her first qualifying round and advanced to the top 16.<\/p>\n Men\u2019s Individual Championship<\/strong> – August 28, 2009 Fighting Spirit Award<\/strong> Australian Men\u2019s Team Captain Kirby Smith reached the quarter finals, only to be defeated by the new Champion, S. Teramoto. Kirby Smith received a Fighting Spirit Award.<\/p>\n All Australian Men win their pools and advanced to the qualifying round.
