The 2017 Australian Iaido & Jodo Seminar, Championships and grading exams will be held in Melbourne, Victoria, from Friday 17 to Tuesday 21 February 2017.\u00a0Training for both arts will be available throughout each day.<\/p>\n
Dan-grade exams up to Iaido 5 Dan and Jodo 5 Dan will be held on Tuesday 21\u00a0February 2017. with the Iaido and Jodo Championships to\u00a0follow the exams.<\/p>\n
DATES and SCHEDULE:<\/strong> Saturday 18 February 2017<\/p>\n 12:00 \u2013 1:00 pm hours. Meeting of members with the Iaido Board and the Jodo Board. (Training venue).<\/p>\n 7:00 pm. AIJSC Dinner. $50 per head. Check the Dan Exam application page <\/a>for other details.<\/p>\n Exam applications cut off dates<\/strong><\/p>\n LOCATION:<\/strong> Enter<\/strong>\u00a0from near the corner of Mills Close and Ballarat Road.<\/p>\n Car parking<\/strong><\/p>\n The VU car park is accessable via Hoadley Court. Map<\/a>.<\/p>\n The\u00a0EasyPark<\/a> ticketing system\u00a0allows you to pay via an app., using your mobile phone; or tickets are dispensed from machines with coin and credit-card payment options. About $5.50 per day.<\/p>\n It is about a 5 minute walk to the Sports Centre entry at level 0.\u00a0 Then walk through reception and go up one level to L1 by lift or stairs. Changing room and showers are on level 0.<\/p>\n Public parking on street, is also available in surrounding streets. The easiest is Ballarat Road, east of Mills Close, about a 3-5 minute walk to the seminar venue, via the car park entry in Mills Close, then turn right and go down the steps. This will be a good opportunity to socialise with fellow iaido and jodo people and catch up with old and new friends.<\/p>\n The Seminar Dinner will be held in the upstairs room at Errols Restaurant, 69-71 Errol Street North Melbourne, VIC 3051. Map<\/a>.\u00a0 7:00 to 10:30 pm.<\/p>\n Cost is $50 per head for three courses of entr\u00e9e, main course and dessert.\u00a0 There will be a variety of food, plus any food preferences expressed at RSVP time, will be accommodated.\u00a0 Drinks are an extra cost and will be available from the bar in our function room.<\/p>\n Due to limited space and to reserve your seat at the dinner, \u00a0your RSVP will be needed prior to close of business on Tuesday 14 February<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Note that as we are limited to 60 people, unfortunately we may not be able to fit everyone in, so don\u2019t be late and miss out.\u00a0 First come \u2013 first served. If you miss out, your $50 will be returned.
