Dear members,

I am very pleased to announce that three more members of the Australian Kendo Renmei have recently been awarded the Shogo level of Renshi.

Such awards are made with a local nomination and selection process, followed by the submission of examination papers to be assessed in Tokyo, by examiners appointed by the All Japan Kendo Federation.

The results of the most recent exam was held in Tokyo on 30 November 2007 have just been announced.

Congratulations to all recipients.

The 2007 Shogo awards are to:
Toshiaki Tsukadaira, Kendo 6 Dan, Renshi, Queensland.
Paul Rixon, Kendo 6 Dan, Renshi, New South Wales.
Brett Smith, Kendo 6 Dan, Renshi, Victoria.
